Keith Anderson (BYC Founder) Black Bluefield Organizer
Native of Bluefield, WV. Had some college, but basically a craftsman and amateur writer. Life dedicated to Black Socioeconomic Independence and to leading the way toward a new and evolved era of man, where resources, wealth and opportunity are distributed equitably and where man works collective with man to create a better future for all and for Mother Earth and her creatures. Founder of Ad Spread Collective (ASC--AdSpread.com), a multifaceted entity serving as the umbrella organization housing my various enterprise projects. Slogan: "Collective Action for Collective Rise."
(1) Pay College Athletes Association
Seeking partners to help develop the PCAA.
The PCAA is presently an informal organization that's free to join. It seeks to overturn the NCAA’s ban on paying college athletes. Its mission is to allow fans to pay college athletes on an equal basis according to popularity of sport and division, division alone, gender, and/or all eligible college athletes in general. If/When that mission is accomplished, you would be able to contribute your funds toward, for example, Men's Div. 1-A Football or Women's Div 3 Softball; all male athletes of Div 3, all female athletes of Div 2, and/or all male/female athletes of Div NAIA 1; or you could give to all male athletes in general, all female athletes, and/or all male/female college athletes of all sports/divisions—the BIG GENERAL POT! The PCAA also supports the right of college athletes/teams to make endorsement deals so long as the payments are shared equally with all athletes of the agreed-upon sect or with all athletes in general. (Click the “ABOUT” link on the PCAA site.) Until the mission is accomplished, funds raised will be used to build the PCAA brand and support base and eventually to help former college athletes capitalize and/or expand their businesses.
(2) CentList
Seeking partners to help establish and develop CentList.com.
CentList would be a marketing/networking site/app charging no membership fee or sales commissions, heavily subsidized via sponsorship advertising, and allowing members/visitors to search for general items as well as green/Fair-Trade ones. Members could post listings cheaply, elevate the status of their listings by contributing to charities (thereby also improving world conditions), and gain publicity for themselves by recruiting other members and receiving one link per recruit leading to their CentList Home Page when clicked. The info on the Web page gives greater detail.
(3) Harriet Tubman on $25 Bill
I started a campaign to put Harriet Tubman on a $25 bill--and to use the bill to raise funds for some very worthy causes. See Tubman25.com.
(4) Buy & Stock
Seeking partners to help establish and develop Buy & Stock .
Buy & Stock would be a product-marketing club (initially beginning locally, but possibly expanding nationally, even globally) whereby members could supply products to be sold, purchase them at discount prices, and the general consumer base may purchase them at prices lower than the norm. All items would be supplied by the membership, whereby said members may participate whether or not they possess individual business licenses. They may therefore acquire their products through wholesale purchases or by any other legal means granting them discounts adequate for relaying good savings on to B&S customers. The requirements would be that all items are in new/like-new sellable condition, free from defects, and offered at *attractive B&S prices (*which would be highly possible because of the burdens of marketing being alleviated from suppliers by B&S).
Also, B&S would serve as a ready-made marketing source for craftspeople, artisans, food producers, and general manufacturers desiring a very convenient way to bring their creations to the marketplace—a way much less discriminatory toward the little guy than the big-boy mass marketers out there.
(1) Need for a New Direction
As a people, we expend so much of our energy trying to fit into America's burning house. I say it's time to build our own house--one based on collective action for the betterment of the whole instead of the enrichment of the one or few. We need to establish our own system of survival. But first, we need to establish our own industrial base to raise the capital for such. (To be continued.)
(1) Getting Rid of Yellow Jackets
Those little stinging SOBs on your yard driving you crazy? Stand back, observe, and find out where their nest hole is. Lay the handle end of a long garden tool (hoe, rake) or a broom/mop down right next to, but not covering up, that hole. Late at night, when they're all snuggled in and asleep, get a cup of gasoline and a flashlight, locate the hole via the end of that long-handled tool, pour the gas into it--and give the little bastards a permanent nighty-night.
(2) Convenient Dinner
Need a good go-to dinner--that's also great for lunch, maybe even breakfast? Also, one in which you can eat as leftovers when it isn't convenient to cook? Cook some chicken. (I prefer my convection oven. Just season the bird, put it onto the top rack, pour in a little water for moisture, set the temperature, time, then just walk away.) Throw on a pot of rice and one of peas. After cooking, mix the bird, rice, and some barbecue sauce and ketchup in a bowl. Stir thoroughly. Then throw in the peas--as many as desired. Mix gently. And there you have it. A delicious mixture you'll enjoy time and time again. Along with it, I like to have a salad and a baked potato. (If you like that, place the potato on the bottom rack of the convection oven and allow it to cook along with the chicken.)
(3) Print a Planner Every Year
I keep up with what's going on and what I must do via my custom planner I print out each year. It's comprised of 12 sheets stapled together, each with half a month on each side and filled with lines for adding content--plenty of room for that. As soon as I think of something I need to be aware of in the future, I write it down. That way, I almost never fail to take care of business when it's time.
