Let’s say the GPF has gained enough notoriety to run auctions on a weekly basis. For this week’s auction, we’ll say the total product stock is 200,000 items, whereby we’ll define the term “item” as either a singular product or as multiple products combined into a Combo that we’ll sell as a singular item.
The GPF paid an even $10,000,000 ($50 each item) including shipping to GPF warehousing facilities, whereby a combination of large bulk purchases, business liquidations, break-even pricing to gain publicity through the GPF, extra discounts for product test-marketing, plus the advantage that large portions of the bulk purchased goods can be picked up and shipped by the WSD network, all work together to lower the average pricing to 55% of retail. So, for our $10 million, we’d be acquiring roughly $18,200,000 in retail value.
These goods are stored in, we’ll say, 20 GPF warehouses across the nation in proportions predicted by the executive staff to sell in those particular locales, thus lowering delivery costs based upon proximity to predicted consumer bases. |
