SURVEY FORM: SEEKING SUPPORTERS To Help Establish a CRITICAL Publication for the GLOBAL BLACK POPULACE.
(*Note: Though this survey is geared toward Atlanta, GA, the initial edition of the magazine could be launched elsewhere. Thus, if you are of another location, respond as if you are referencing your own city/location.)
The Ebon Run (TheEbonRun.com) is a magazine/brand project in development with an ultimate goal of allowing news/info critical to the Black (Melanated People) Plight to be disseminated to the world’s entire literate Black Populace, whereby said Populace can network and connect and then work cooperatively to actually GET THINGS DONE regarding Black Socioeconomic Progress. It is currently planned to be an 8-1/2 X 11, fortnight (twice monthly) periodical of 100 (or more) pages beginning in the Atlanta, GA area (or possibly another heavily-Black, urban, area) and then expanding outward nationally/globally.
Why “Print”? Because virtual space is crowded, often intrusive—-and all too habitually ignored!...“digital fatigue.” A physical, readily readable (no electronic device needed), periodical in a person’s hands is much more likely to be noticed and examined. Plus, when left “on a table,” or on a library or “dentist’s” magazine rack, someone else will notice it.
The news/info content will be provided by the people, with them serving as its eyes, and the publication serving as their voice. That being said, the publication will therefore belong TO THE PEOPLE—not to corporate interests. The magazine will operate on a strategically budgeted basis, being subsidized via ad sponsorship, brand marketing, and, ideally, being delivered via Black youth (independent contractors) needing the income. Content contributors will not be paid, but, instead, will receive, with some exceptions, a free ad space in exchange for their content contributions that they may use to promote their goods/services/causes and/or just connect with others.
As it expands, the magazine entity will pursue the acquisition of its own printing facilities as well as a print-supply replenishment base (whether investing in the advancement of more economical non-tree papers and eco inks and/or increased tree-planting), whereby it will reduce printing costs (while ideally employing ecological printing materials/methods) and subsidize the magazine project further via printing-service sales to customers, thereby reducing subscription/purchasing costs and increasing circulation. It will also establish the Ebon Run Business Fund (Fund) as a 501c3, accepting donations to help Black entrepreneurs start/expand businesses. Plus, it will launch other proactive projects to help our people survive and flourish. See TheEbonRun.com for further details.
If you are interested in supporting the cause, please complete this FORM, or copy the fields below, complete all required fields with your responses, and then email the completed survey to Blackindustry@yahoo.com.

*Are you interested in possibly sponsoring ads if the magazine is first circulated primarily in the Atlanta area—but is also partially nationally circulated to expand its readership base? If “Yes,” then, by gauging an 8-1/2 X 11 page, what would your maximum offer be for ad spaces of the following sizes and *circulation volumes (*K = 1,000)?: Full Page: 10K: $ 20K: $ 50K: $ 100K: $ Half Page: 10K: $ 20K: $ 50K: $ 100K: $ 1/4 Page: 10K: $ 20K: $ 50K: $ 100K: $ 1/8 Page: 10K: $ 20K: $ 50K: $ 100K: $

If "Yes," how much would you invest toward establishing a start-up printing facility capable of printing/finishing 100,000 magazine copies per run if the facility/equipment costs: $5 million?: $ $10 million?: $

Would you be interested in continuously investing in the expansion of this overall printing-facility process?
*The Ebon Run is planned to have local editions (featuring global content plus content for particular locales), as well as global editions (featuring global content as well as snippets of the content from the various localities) that will be distributed to all locales not having their own local edition. Each local edition (Atlanta, New York, Nairobi, London, etc.) will have its own local editor (but only for its local content).
Would you be interested in being an editor for a particular city if, in each edition, you were given a space to include your own article plus a free ad space to promote your own products/services?
*Are you interested in a possible position (progressing from national to global) with The Ebon Run? If "Yes," list all such positions acceptable below: If "Yes," list all your qualifications below:

(Contestants would be voted on by the Black subscription base, and the winners would represent the Ebon Run mission of Black Socio-economic Advancement for that year—all expenses paid—and would also receive a living stipend along with a monetary prize to be used as capital to start or expand their own business.) (Answer "Yes" or "No" here.)
*Are you a Black youth (14-21) needing income/extra-income desiring to be a delivery person for copies? (Answer, in cents, here.)
Also, what is your minimum pay per copy (in cents) if delivered in bulk in quantities of?: 10: 20: 50: 100: (Understand, the more economical you are, the greater your chance of being selected.)
